Dr. Serden Özcan
Professor Serden Özcan holds the Otto Beisheim Endowed Chair of Innovation and Corporate Transformation at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. He is a leading expert on corporate transformation, private equity, and entrepreneurship, with award-winning research published in top journals and outlets like MIT Sloan Management Review.
He founded WHU’s Campus for Corporate Transformation and co-directs the IESE-WHU High-Performance Board Member Program. He also co-hosts Leading Corporate Transformation: The WHU Podcast, powered by PwC.
At WHU, he teaches across MBA and executive programs and designs leadership programs for major organizations such as BASF, Stellantis, Merck, and Germany’s Ministry of Defense.
A frequent media contributor and speaker, Professor Özcan advises top European boards and coaches new board members. He has held academic roles at Copenhagen Business School, NUS, and visiting positions at Stanford, Chicago, and Cambridge.
He is also active in social entrepreneurship and sustainability initiatives across Europe, Asia, and Africa.
