Evangelos Pelecanos

Mr. Evangelos Pelecanos is the Chief Information Officer of Ellaktor Group, responsible for the Group’s IT strategy and overall digital transformation journey. His role focuses on optimizing business operations, managing IT projects, reducing costs, and driving innovation through digital initiatives. His areas of expertise include Digital Transformation, Digital Strategy, ERP Systems, Microsoft Infrastructure, Business Processes, and Analytics.

With more than 30 years of experience in Information Technology, he has served in senior leadership roles across major organizations. His previous positions include CIO at Archirodon N.V. and Mytilineos Group, Section Manager for the Organizing Committee of the Athens Olympic Games, and a key role in the Operations Department of Attiko Metro.

Mr. Pelecanos holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, USA. He has published four papers in international conferences and is a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), and Tau Beta Pi, the Engineering Science Honor Society in the USA.
