George Katsouranis is a seasoned executive with nearly 30 years of leadership experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as the Chief People & Organizational Development Officer at Snappi, he is a strong advocate for driving tangible business results through continuous human capital development. Prior to his current role, he held senior executive positions at Piraeus Bank, one of the leading financial institutions in Southeastern Europe.

Throughout his career, George has spearheaded numerous high-stakes strategic initiatives, including complex mergers and acquisitions, international expansions, and large-scale organizational turnarounds. Notably, he led Excelixi SA, an innovative Piraeus Bank subsidiary acting as a center for sustainable entrepreneurship, where he provided consulting, training, and financing solutions to SMEs.
