Michalis Moraitis has served as a founding and executive member of EuroDigital in Brussels, a founding member and Vice President of the Hellenic CIO Forum, President of the Hellenic Institute of Information & Communication (EIP) and a member of the Board of Directors of EEDE.
He brings nearly three decades of executive experience across the Greek and global IT markets, with a proven track record in delivering strategic objectives, business transformation and optimization initiatives, including the turnaround of operationally challenged organizations. He has successfully led numerous major and complex projects and has received multiple distinctions in recognition of his work.
Michalis also has extensive expertise in the implementation of IT/IS projects and significant experience in large-scale initiatives. He is regarded as a visionary CIO in the field of digital transformation. Throughout his career, he has held various executive positions in consulting with Andersen Consulting/Accenture and Ernst & Young, while also serving organizations across a broad range of industries, including automotive, retail and wholesale, e-commerce, apparel, healthcare and services. His professional experience includes roles with Yokohama Greece, Deutz Fahr Greece, HYGEIA Hospital and koolfly.com.
Earlier in his career, Michalis also served as a professor at the University of Indianapolis and other international universities and institutions.
He is the recipient of an honorary distinction at the BITE Awards, recognizing his achievements and contribution to the IT sector both in Greece and internationally.
