Neil Martin

Neil Martin is a strategic operations pioneer in Formula 1, boasting a career that spans over 30 years at the absolute forefront of motorsport technology. Throughout his illustrious career, he has held senior strategic leadership roles at legendary teams, including Head of Strategy at Ferrari, Head of Strategic Operations at Red Bull Racing, and Team Leader at McLaren. Working closely with World Champions such as Mika Häkkinen, Kimi Räikkönen, Fernando Alonso, and Sebastian Vettel, he has consistently driven innovation in race strategy, performance optimization, and the strategic use of advanced data.

In 1995, Neil revolutionized F1 race strategy by introducing Monte Carlo and Game Theory modeling techniques. Today, the software solutions he has designed or inspired are utilized by more than half the Formula 1 grid.

He is currently the Founder and CEO of Paceteq, an AI-powered sports technology company. Under his leadership, Paceteq delivers cutting-edge data analytics, software, and consulting services, helping elite sports teams gain a definitive competitive advantage through real-time insights, predictive modeling, and unified data solutions from telemetry, video, and sensors.

Neil holds degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Southampton, where his early MSc research on risk assessment laid the groundwork for his groundbreaking career.
